How to Reach Us

By Plane

From either Galileo Galilei Airport in Pisa or Amerigo Vespucci Airport in Florence, the shuttle bus brings you to Piazza Santa Maria Novella. From the stop, proceed on foot in the direction of the Basilica. Shortly, take Largo Fratelli Alinari on the left. Continue straight. When you come to Via Faenza on the left, follow it until you reach Piazza del Crocifisso.
From there, you have to take Via Guelfa. You will find Relais Gaia on the left at 126.

By Train

As you get off the train (with your back to the trains), exit the station on the left-hand side, cross the road and head left.
A few meters at the first corner turn right and continue straight until Via Faenza.
Turn left towards Piazza del Crocifisso, keep right and take Via Guelfa, on the left at number 126, you will find Relais Gaia.

By Car

From the A1 Bologna and A11 Pisa motorways, take the Firenze Nord exit and continue towards the center of Florence. Once you enter the city, follow the signs for Santa Maria Novella Station and Santa Maria Novella car park.
As you drive along Viale Spartaco Lavagnini, take Via Nazionale on the right. Follow it all the way down, and the final part is Largo Fratelli Alinari, right at the entrance to Piazza Santa Maria Novella.

Turn right, keeping the station on your left, until you get to the traffic lights. Then turn right into Piazza Adua, continue straight on for a few meters and turn left, where you will find a small square called Piazza del Crocifisso. From there, you have to take Via Guelfa. You will find Relais Gaia on the left at 126.

Parking is located just 10 meters from our B & B.
The daily parking fee ranges from € 27 to € 32 per day, depending on the size of the car.
Alternatively, it is possible to park at La Fortezza about 300 meters away from the B & B, with a daily fee of € 20.
